My sincere piece of advice:
- Limit the hours you spend in front of screens.
- Pause every 20 mins on what you are doing and look away from the screens.
I think this mini gap in between is a good way to have at least a few seconds or minutes for your eye to rest.
14. Take your Allergy under control
Nasal allergies and sinuses can cause watery, puffy eyes. I personally would try to avoid taking medicine since my allergy is not too serious but bear in mind this is different from case to case.
So how do I treat my allergy?
My only way of tackle is… Try preventing the onset of it.
This includes limiting myself from the exposure of allergens that I know would trigger allergy like pollen, feather pillow, dust etc. What if the situation doesn’t allow you to avoid it, for instance clearing off a dusty area?
Here’s some tips…
Cover your nose and mouth with your hand or simply wear a mask to minimize the exposure.
Although it is not 100% preventive, at least my condition wouldn’t go worst & my puffy eyes would gradually subside.
To be on the safe side, consult a doctor whenever it’s necessary.
